The woman behind the camera

Hi, my name is Karlee. I am happy that you're here and reading this! I want you to be comfortable as can be during our shoot so here's a little snapshot of me and my life...

I have my B.S. in Biology from the University of Pittsburgh (Hail to Pitt) and my M.S. in Environmental Science and Management from Duquesne University. I currently teach Biology at a local community college and take photos to allow a more flexible schedule to be at home to watch my son grow.

I am a part-time instructor, in addition to being a photographer and mama. I wear a lot of hats personally and professionally but I have always been infatuated with documenting special moments since I was a child - yes, I'm a total sap when it comes to photos...you can never have too many!

As a mama myself, I understand the importance of getting those special shots of all of the landmarks in your life and everything in between. It's a major goal of mine to get a good shot for those mamas out there because we all know dads get the good shots with the kids because of us. :) When I started my photography business, I set out with a purpose of always doing everything I could do to provide affordable services, make clients comfortable, and to get THE shot that gets hung on the wall.

“Captured absolutely beautiful pictures of our soon to be family of 4. Karlee was so patient with our almost 3 year old that wasn’t the most cooperative and got some great shots of her. Photos are of high quality and the recommended locations to get the perfect shots were beautiful and it couldn’t have been more perfect!”
